Director HR Business Partner AMD Bangalore

The India HR Director directly supports one of our most critical regions at AMD. This successful candidate will coach, consult and facilitate both the India Leadership Team as well as AMD senior executives on successful human capital strategies, provide business insights through org and talent analytics and drive proactive organizational development and change initiatives across India. Key Responsibilities:

Drive and enable a culture of innovation and a positive employee, manager and candidate experience
Consult, coach and execute with the business to identify, develop and drive key human capital initiatives such as leadership development, succession planning, talent acquisition, and rewards and recognition.
Analyze and communicate insights through the use of key talent metrics to provide guidance to the business.
Partner and team with colleagues inside and outside of HR to innovate, enhance, align and drive the effectiveness of enterprise-wide HR programs and initiatives.
Strategically drive pay-for-performance including salary planning, promotions, resource planning and talent calibration.
Lead the analysis and interpretation of engagement survey results, identifying trends and collaborating with leaders to identify and implement action planning.
Act as an advisor to business leaders on issues relating to policy interpretation and employee relations; providing coaching techniques and developing performance improvement plans
Advise and execute on statutory, compliance, employee relations, compensation, benefits, policies and procedural issues across India

Experience in a global, matrixed Technical/Engineering High Tech Company
Action and results-orientation with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to make decisions quickly
Demonstrated ability to analyze/use HR metrics to partner with the business, influence action and be the HR champion and co-owner of business agenda
Diversified knowledge and application of processes and programs such as organization design and development, change management, workforce and succession planning, performance management, employee relations, compensation, training, and recruitment.
Demonstrated ability to coach and influence
Demonstrated group facilitation and engagement skills.
Proven operational and project management skills.
A track record of creativity and innovative solutions
Demonstrated ability to build and sustain positive cross functional relationships.
Demonstrated ability to work in a global, complex, matrix organization.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team, manage conflict, and build trust.
A track record of creativity and innovation human capital solutions.
Excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
Work closely and cooperatively with other regional HR and other functional WW leaders
Demonstrated capacity to work independently, take proactive action and deliver results with a sense of urgency


Academic Credentials:



MS/MA/MBA + 15 years business/HR experience preferred
