As the Director/Head of Second-Party Development, you will oversee the evaluation, acquisition, and development of external content for Stadia Games and Entertainment. Responsible for building and leading a global organization of producers and specialists, you will manage production and publishing services for all signed second-party titles.
Minimum qualifications: 10 years of experience in the game industry managing a range of games. 4 years leading a second- or third-party publishing organization. Experience leading global teams. Preferred qualifications: MBA or Master’s degree. Passionate gamer with deep knowledge of the industry spanning classics to current hits. Expert level negotiation and contracts drafting skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Responsibilities Manage Stadia Games and Entertainment’s external game development portfolio and partner with Business Development teams to identify the best opportunities to pursue and developers to work with. Build a positive reputation for Google and Stadia as a second-party publisher that developers want to partner with. Ensure that the proper processes and tools are in place to manage and mitigate project risks. Build templates for the various forms of agreements needed to ensure proper milestones and player feedback tests are identified. Manage a team who serves as the main contact with assigned external developers throughout the development and launch of second-party titles.
