Director Digital Strategy Data Innovation Pfizer New York

Job Description:
The Digital Strategy & Data Innovation Team has been established to accelerate the adoption of robust digital & data solutions and compliant policies across the enterprise. Working across commercial, R&D and supporting functions, the team is responsible for recommending, incubating and operationalizing new capabilities in the big data and technology arena that help Pfizer advance how it engages customers and meets business needs in a changing health landscape. The team's focus is on those future digital strategies that will have the greatest impact in supporting Pfizer's commercial biopharmaceutical business over the next three years.

Health Information Technology (HIT) is changing how we engage with our institutional and healthcare provider customers. In addition, it offers new opportunities in how we support patients, leverage real world data and activate innovative digital programs. This colleague will lead and coordinate Pfizer's enterprise HIT strategy, specifically:

Responsibilities
*Formulate enterprise strategy, point-of-view and strategic roadmap for Pfizer's engagement in the HIT space
*Perform ongoing landscape trends tracking, synthesis, and communication to stakeholders
*Engage with external ecosystem (e.g. healthcare and tech partners) and start-up community to develop strategic partnerships
*Lead cross business unit and functional working group and governance bodies to facilitate sharing of best practices, capability development and prioritization of programs
*Lead cross functional acceleration team focused on incubating 'step change' HIT innovation programs and pilots within appropriate therapeutic areas

Qualifications
*Bachelors required; Master's degree preferred
*12+ years of work experience
*5+ years of experience working in the healthcare technology space
*Previous experience in analytics, strategy, technology, consulting, or policy function focused on eHealth or HIT
*Proven track record of working cross-functionally and driving cross-functional groups to alignment and action
*Ability to translate knowledge of HIT and healthcare industry into actionable solutions that drive impact
*Demonstrated passion and interest in applying innovative and emerging technologies to business opportunities
*Excellent project management and problem solving skills and effective oral/written communicator
