Senior Director Commercial Planning Process Design PepsiCo White Plains

This high-visibility position will develop the next generation commercial planning and portfolio optimization process for North America Beverages (NAB) for Non-Carbonated Beverages (NCB) and Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSD) across all channels. The Senior Director will partner closely with a highly cross functional group of team members (e.g., innovation, brand marketing, customer management, regional sales, supply chain, finance teams). The scope of the role covers all aspects of commercial planning including but not limited to innovation pipeline management, assortment optimization, planogram design, price pack architecture, display optimization, price/promotion, perfect store design.

The Senior Director will be responsible to develop the roadmap that can be executed by the NAB commercial organization covering new process design, definition of roles & responsibilities, tactical guidelines and relevant tracking mechanisms. This role will also be responsible for developing commercial strategy for NAB Strategic Business Plan (SBP) and provide inputs for Annual Operating Plan (AOP) to customer and field sales teams.


The Senior Director is a key member of the NAB Commercial Planning Transformation organization responsible for the successful development of an institutional approach to segmented commercial planning.
Lead development of new commercial planning process for NAB
Provide guardrails and direction to rest of the organization for all commercial related decisions, e.g., stage-gate process, sales & operations planning, commercial planning, revenue management, end-of-life cycle management
Complete relevant analysis and develop insights to improve existing processes
Collaborate and partner closely with cross-functional leaders to ensure successful development and implementation of new robust process
Maintain integrated roadmap including master list of initiatives, business case, status, timeline, milestones, interdependencies, risks, geographies, etc. and communicate to the organization
Coach cross functional team members who will own the new process going forward
Lead special network projects with commercial scope
Develop presentation materials for senior leadership reviews of Transformation strategy, plan, and implementation status and support Strategic Business Plan (SBP) and Annual Operating Plans (AOP) development
Partner with NAB Commercial Organization to develop comprehensive and cohesive change plan
Qualifications:
7 years of post-MBA experience with strategy consulting firm preferred
Bachelor's Degree
Master's in Business Administration (MBA) preferred
Prior Consumer Packaged Goods experience preferred
Prior Commercial and/or Strategy experience preferred
Ability to deliver and lead key strategic initiatives
