Position: Manufacturing Business Development Director
Location: Chicago.
Job Type: Permanent with Wipro

Requirements:
12 – 20 + years of marketing / Sales and/or BD experience in the Mfg Technology industry
Discrete or Process industry.
Bachelors in Engineering/Technology/ MBA preferred.
Presence and clear communication.
Sound understanding of plant floor technologies (both established and current).
Willingness to travel.
Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, other vendors (third-parties) and cross-functional teams Location and Travel: Preferred Locations are Chicago or Atlanta or East Brunswick (NJ).
Travel expected to client locations (About 50%).
Job Duties:
Works closely with the national sales team and existing partners to identify, pursue and close Mfg IT Technology System Integration business.
Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities.
Create compelling high quality proposals and supporting collateral material.
Lead complex deal pursuits that include multiple practice lines and partners.
Nurture and grow partner relationship with clear and regular communication, upfront planning and prompt / timely execution of commitments.
Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
Stays relevant and important to the customer and partners by leading trade show events; blogging and speaking engagements at key industry shows.
