We have a unique opportunity for a Director of Product Marketing who will be responsible for a new SaaS product line being developed as the next emerging business line for Model N.
Model N is the leader in Revenue Management solutions. We help our customers maximize their revenue and reduce revenue compliance risk by managing every dollar that impacts their top line encompassing contracting, pricing, incentives, and rebates. With deep industry expertise to support the unique business needs of Life Sciences and Technology companies in more than 50 countries, we serve customers like Dell, Johnson & Johnson, Merck, Marvell, Maxim, Novartis, AstraZeneca and many more of the worlds leading brands.

Description

This position, reporting to the CMO, will be responsible for outbound marketing activities and will interface with sales, product management and the solutions group within the organization.


The Director of Product marketing will translate insights into messaging and content, that will be promoted through an integrated marketing effort from demand generation to website content, to press activity and social media channels.

This role will support sales teams with messaging and tools to position our solutions and communicate the value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates your products in the market
Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of our products
Product launch – plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
Market intelligence – be the expert on our buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on our competition
Demand generation – develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for your products
Evangelist - Serve as a company spokesperson and go-to thought leader for this product

Desired Skills and Experience
5+ years of software product marketing experience
Bachelors in business or marketing
Direct experience in the SaaS space , CRM preferred
Ability to credibly influence and manage across, and up and down functions is vital.
Excellent writing and messaging skills to position solutions through succinct, compelling, well-written and descriptive approach towards Enterprise customers.
Digital Story Telling: Develop “digital stories” using PowerPoint and other tools to deliver exceptional visuals that compliment exceptional content.
Sales Enablement: Support sales team members with optimal ammunition (presentations, cheat sheets, solution briefs, etc.) to properly position solutions and close opportunities.
