Director - Research and Sourcing - Pontoon Solutions - Jacksonville


Job description
The Director of Research and Sourcing partners with Pontoon Solutions business leaders to create a world class, innovative Research and Sourcing practice. The Director provides strategic and tactical oversight of the Research and Sourcing team within Pontoon Solutions, as well as presents world class sourcing methodologies to potential and current clients through partnering with technology and marketing leaders.
Locations: Jacksonville, FL; Atlanta, GA; or Dallas, TX


Leadership and Expertise
Develops and executes a strategy for pipelining candidates for internal and external requirements serviced by the Pontoon recruitment teams.
Consults with Senior Leadership to help understand market verticals and business needs.
Monitors Pontoon job board spend and effectiveness.
Actively participates in RFP responses taking ownership of all Research and Sourcing areas.
Applies customer and competitive insights in the formulation of marketing and business intelligence and conducts research and analysis of key competitors.
Consistently evaluates new technologies and techniques for the purpose of increasing efficiencies and/or quality output.
Identifies and proposes optional offerings for future client sales and utilization to include but not limited to: salary benchmarking, client branding options, organizational mapping, talent communities, and social media
Management
Oversees team of Sourcing Team Leads, Sourcers and Sourcing Coordinators.
Assists Pontoon leadership in providing weekly/monthly budget reviews regarding personnel and job boards.
In coordination with the implementation and business development teams, establishes project plans for deployment of sourcing strategies for new clients.
Assists in annual review of all job boards and research and sourcing technologies.
Interfaces with job board vendors in a partnership with technology leaders as escalation point to remediate operational challenges.
Maintains budgetary responsibility for both internal and external tools and technologies
Manages and develops staff to network with leaders in the industry to capture market intelligence.
Ensures that standard operating procedures are followed to ensure process and quality consistency.
Works closely with the Account Management team to ensure all client needs are being meet.
Instills confidence in the quality of the research organization to the RPO leadership team.

Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor Degree in a related field required
Eight (8) years of sourcing, market research, recruiting or other related industry experience
Previous managerial experience
Experience in a consultative role required
Global implementation experience a plus
Experience with advertising and social media recruitment strategies
Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) as well as Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) and their capabilities
Comfortable working in a complex matrix environment with multiple practice types representing unique industry verticals, as well as in-house reporting infrastructure
Working knowledge of data mining techniques and Boolean search methodologies
Strong attention to detail, as well as strong problem solving and solution development skills are critical
Ability to excel in a fast paced environment
Ability to take direction and function as a part of a team
Exhibits polished verbal and written communication skills
