Director - Business Development - Web.com - Jacksonville


Job description
The Director/VP, Business Development position will sell National and Local Brand Solution programs to large multi-location, franchise and dealer networks organizations. The position will develop and manage sales process to drive large deals as well as develop strategic relationships, partnerships and alliances across Web.com’s Online Marketing suite of products and services. Role will require Player/Coach approach to building and managing a business development team.

Role and Responsibilities:
Effectively prospect and drive sales process to close large, sustain deals consistent with Web.com’s strategic plans, identify partnerships/applications, screen candidates, negotiate terms of agreements, including licensing agreements, and develop ROI based programs.
Manage the development and integration process fully from prospecting and qualifying, to proposal and contract negotiation, to overseeing onboarding and implementation within Web.com.
Manage the Web.com Core Team process to ensure all impacted areas are provisioned to ensure smooth transition as a new Web.com product.

Due Diligence and Analysis of equity opportunities. Identify potential opportunities.
Analyze and screen these opportunities and make recommendations. Participate as needed on asset purchases and acquisitions in both marketing and business development roles.
Competitive / market analysis: Track competitive activity in Web.com’s key markets. Communicate competitor activity to division heads.

Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Must have excellent verbal and written communication.
Working knowledge and experience with Online Marketing products and services (Website Design, Search Marketing, Content/email marketing, Social Marketing, eCommerce, Domain names, etc).
Experience selling national advertising campaigns into large multi-location, franchise and/or dealer network organizations.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products is a must.
Detail oriented.
Position requires excellent time management skills and organizational skills.
Must have exceptional customer relation skills as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.
Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5-7 years professional Large Deal ($1mm+) Sales experience, 2-4 years of large account management experience and 2-4 years of Customer Service experience within a call center environment.
Responsible for ensuring staff assigned to the accounts and territories meet their required commitments on sales goals and MBOs.
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
