Sr Manager Internal Corporate Communications - Advanced Diagnostics Imaging (ADI)
Your Challenge:
The Communications Manager ADI supports the General Manager (GM), the Business Excellence Manager, the Market Leaders and the Business Innovation Units (BIU) Management Team on internal communications: by communicating key decisions, news relevant for whole BIU, and by creating consistent and inspiring content (e.g. messaging) when developing communication deployment material of BIU strategy – all of this aiming at managing the impact of change and encouraging a strong dialogue within the organization. In addition, the Communications Manager will support customer communications for key luminaries, as well as key opinion leader customer, both for the GM, for the Solutions organization and other members of the management team.
Your Responsibilities:
· Liaise with the Internal Communications function on Healthcare (HC) and Philips corporate level to ensure integration and alignment of programs and strategies.
· Develop, nurture and execute, under the guidance of the Business Excellence Director a consistent and long term Communication strategy, plan and messaging in alignment with BIU business strategy goals and objectives that provides consistent deployment of the overall strategy and inspires all employees.
· Translate the Communication plan to effective communication projects and tactics.
· Create strong messaging (write content), such as quarterly results communication, Townhall presentations, quarterly business review meeting / monthly business review meeting (QBRM/MBRM) outcomes etc….
· Further anchor the newly developed tools (NewsBox, IGITalk) within the organization and push to expand current usage of new and social media.
· Be the Chief operational editor to the various editorial boards in place (iXR Headlines, IGITalk) – steering these teams.
· Select/work and manage agencies and resources to execute communication activities.
· Develop, with Marketing, internal messaging aligned with external messaging so that employees LIVE the propositions we offer our customers, achieving true integrated communications.
· Enhance the dialogue between management and employees such that all employees are well informed on the status and direction of achieving our overall business objectives and are aware of their contribution therein. In addition, enhance the dialogue to also promote cross-fertilization and co-creation of solutions between employees /functions as well as with Management.
· Collect feedback periodically to monitor progress of initiatives and inform the MT/board about the ongoing communication plan.
· Set-up communication plan towards markets
· Set-up communication plan for key opinion leaders (customers)
Your Team:
The Communications Manager will work in close collaboration with key stake holders and other Communications position holders. The most important framework of working relations comprises:
· Members of the Management Team ADI
· Imaging Systems, ICS&M and Philips Healthcare Communications and Public Relations
· All ADI markets
· Philips Corporate Communications
Requirements:
· To be successful in this role, a University level education in Communication, Business, or social sciences is required.
· Experience in internal communications and evidence of change management impact of your communication plans.
· The ability to interact with various key stakeholders on various seniority levels within the company with tact, diplomacy to ensure a continuous open communication
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and good analytical capabilities
· Effective use of change management communication
· Able to interact with and influence partners across a highly matrixed organization
· Manage communication projects under budgets and deadlines
· Experienced with latest social media communication technology tools
