Designs, develops and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life. Serves as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing as the product(s) move to production and distribution. Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product’s lifecycle including modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line. Develops business plans and product positioning in the marketplace. Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity and identifies customer needs. Establishes pricing strategies. Works with engineering, manufacturing and sales to develop new products or enhance existing product(s) or product line(s).
Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for the identification of new and adjacent markets and ongoing development of business opportunities within core business.
Identify alliance opportunities (e.g.: Joint ventures, cooperative development and technology licenses); structure, negotiate and to efficiently deploy and enter new market and business domains.
Thoroughly understands and articulates technical direction, capabilities, and business model to partners, and responsible for driving agreement from both internal (executive level and senior leadership) and external stakeholders.
Continuously improve knowledge of new business models and business partners.
Drive program via executive communications and working closely with engineering, product management, and marketing.
Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree required in technical area. Masters degree preferred along with technical experience.
12 years’ experience in dealing with fortune 100 and startups. Broad knowledge of high tech industry and demonstrated experience in driving design wins and partnerships.
8+ years’ experience in a combination of business development, innovation, strategy and/or product management roles
Entrepreneurial mindset – strong technology skills, finding opportunities, creating new value, problem-solving, learning and teamwork
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to convert technical concepts into customer value stories and create and deliver Executive-level presentations
Strategic and critical thinking
Business acumen – rounded business thinking, solid business judgment and decision making
Project management skills – planning, organizing and managing business development projects
Demonstrated ability to partner across the organization to execute on strategic projects
Ambition to win, with a shared purpose and a commitment to results
Flexibility and agility to adapt to change, and comfortable with ambiguity
Korean Language preferred.
