CGI has an exciting opportunity for an industry executive to provide strategic direction and business development support to our US Mid-Atlantic BU teams and clients and act as subject matter expert for CGI.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Provide mortgage banking subject matter expertise to major offering development and client opportunities
• Work with strategic client account team and clients to build senior level relationships and represent the breadth of CGI’s global financial capabilities
• In conjunction with intellectual property teams, create map of intellectual property capabilities and provide recommendations for further investment and acquisitions
• Creating unique and insightful thought leadership in mortgage banking that creates preference for CGI in the market
• Participate in annual account planning and deals where personal involvement will lead to organic growth in mortgage banking book of business
• Build strong awareness and knowledge base of CGI’s financial capability and ensure materials are available in internal knowledge sites and tools
• Build strong working relationships with mortgage banking client and internal leaders and be their first point of call to support and participate in client and other brand building events
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Track record of coaching and directing major bids for business and information technology solutions through full lifecycle
• Track record of executive engagement in mortgage banking as a peer influencer, subject matter expert in a number of key banking domains and as a supplier to the banking industry
• Mortgage banking experience as a senior business change leader/program manager working heavily with information technology or as an information technology leader working with the business to produce step change and transformational business benefits
• Self-starter, strong influencer, great self-organization.
• Thrive on keeping up-to-date with market changes, able to speak fluently about them and point out implications and opportunities for CGI. Identified as a subject matter expert or a key influencer
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Telecommute/work remotely with occasional travel required
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Account management of a major supplier or major mortgage banking related company
• Business Development experience
• Program management
• CI-CD, Agile, DevOps, BDD, TDD, Cloud
• Bachelor’s Degree. Graduate degree or executive management training preferred
