The Change Management Director will play a key role in ensuring successful adoption of large-scale business transformation initiatives. Responsibilities include developing a clear understanding of organizational change management and driving support with senior leadership as well as throughout the organization. The Leader partners with internal and external resources as they establish an organizational change model/methodology and execute change management strategies and plans in support of business transformation initiatives throughout a global and diverse organization.
The Change Management Director (need to resolve level – Sr. Manager or Director) will play a key role in ensuring the change initiatives initially associated with the OneVision program meet project timelines change readiness goals by increasing employee adoption and usage. This person will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. S/He will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees. These improvements will increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes.

The Change Management Director must work through many others in varying roles, functions, and geographical regions throughout the organization to succeed. S/He will act as a coach for senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfill the role of change sponsor. S/He may also provide direct support and coaching to all levels of managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions. The Change Management Director will also support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans and manage a change team that includes specialists in change, communications and training.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Lead change management for the implementation of business transformational initiatives globally (initially OneVision program).
Create a measurement system and/or tool to assess awareness, understanding, buy-in and support of change management activities.
Develop a feedback mechanism at strategic touch points to facilitate open discussions of organizational improvement opportunities.
Conduct change readiness assessments, evaluate results, present findings, and make recommendations to senior leaders.
Leads a team of specialists in Change Management, Communications, and Training to accomplish the business transformation needs of the organization.
Change: Apply change management processes and tools to create a strategy that supports adoption and assess the impact of the changes required by a project or initiative. Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
Communications: Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications.
Training: Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs.
Create and deploy change management tools and guide the change agents in their use.
Expertly apply a change management methodology (e.g., Prosci) to change initiatives and leading cultural adoption.
Work with employees at all levels (executives, people managers, employees) and with various cultural backgrounds to coach and influence for positive business outcomes.
Partner with the OneVision Program Office and business leaders to identify long-term change management initiatives throughout the enterprise.
Liase with Organizational Effectiveness Leader on global HR change strategies and initiatives
Develop detailed change management and risk mitigation plans and supporting materials, in close partnership with Change Management, Communications and Training Specialists.
Partner closely with the PMO to manage execution of change activities in alignment with project plans.
Set direction for change agenda and manage results-driven team for successful outcomes.
Identify change champions and form change agent networks.
Coach executive sponsors, people leaders, change champions, and change agents for effectiveness in their change-related roles.
Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption of the change.
Develop leadership action communication products including briefing slide decks, videos, emails, get-ready checklists, quick start guides, etc.
Identify and manage anticipated resistance.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts.
Experience with change management in large, complex organizations.
Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent active listening skills
Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.

Change management certification or designation desired.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Normal office environment.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field or equivalent education and experience. Master’s Degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 15-20 years of change, business process, technology management experience.
