Job Description:
The Amazon Video group is currently seeking a talented strategic marketing lead that will develop inventive, bespoke promotional opportunities for Amazon’s newest streaming video programming.
This position reports to the Director of Marketing and will focus on expanding our audience base and creating awareness of our premium offerings through promotional strategies that leverage partners, influencers and events.
Responsibilities For This Position Include (but Not Limited To)
create a 360 promotions strategy that will engage a wide range of new audiences and entice them to discover, and become more deeply engaged with, our programming and our brand
· Develop inventive promotional and event marketing opportunities that effectively expands our audience base and garners consumer/industry buzz and attention.
· Facilitate, coordinate and manage promotional partnerships to create organic marketing initiatives to extend marketing reach through earned media.
· Manage influencer marketing strategy, design and manage ambassador programs.
· Identify, recruit and manage influencer relationships and negotiate and execute paid influencer programs.
· Build and maintain positive relationships across the company. Leverage those relationships to create additional promotional opportunities.
· Work closely with other marketing, PR and production team members to ensure proper integration into marketing strategies or tactics.
· Work closely with legal, finance or other relevant business teams to ensure timely and proper vetting, risk management and cost controls.
· Develop pitch/presentation materials that clearly articulate ideas, strategies, appropriate data and other essential material for key internal and external stakeholders.
· Work closely with creative team to identify and conceptualize creative assets needed to support promotional opportunities and partnerships.
· Measure reach, frequency and overall value/effectiveness of promotional campaigns, report and course correct as needed.
10+ years of relevant marketing or PR team management experience with a major brand and/or marketing agency.
Demonstrated experience managing influencer and partnership programs for consumer facing brands.
Demonstrated experience conceptualizing and executing large-scale consumer brand activations.
Ability to manage multiple, complex projects with success in project management and execution.
An acute understanding and awareness of industry trends, the latest PR/social media advancements and relevant campaigns.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to operate with discretion and excel in a lean work environment.
Detail Oriented.
Bachelor’s degree.
Active relationships and work experience with widely known influencers and fashion brands.
Self-motivated team player who excels in fast-paced environments
Possess creative and customer centric approaches to identifying promotional opportunities
