Job Description:
The Director of Spare Parts is responsible for overarching coordination of country relevant activities related to the Spare Parts processes within the U.S. Field Operation. Duties include interfacing with the Spare Parts Organizations at both the TKE Global and the Americas business levels, coordinating the implementation of related projects, providing transparency to country management, and coordinating information flow among various stakeholders.
The Spare Parts business is currently embedded within the Manufacturing Operations of TKE in the US and this position has been created to help coordinate the effort to move the business into the Field organization alongside all other lines of business (e.g. New Installation, Modernization, Service, Repair). This position will continue with responsibility to assist the VP of Spare Parts in leading and growing the Spare Parts line of business to realize the full potential of the extensive value of Spare Parts to the US Elevator market, including to our current customers and other TKE lines of business that serve these customers.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate the spare parts initiatives and projects derived from global best practices and policies
Responsible for overall coordination across a broad range of stakeholder groups
Prepare various project plans
Prepare and deliver presentations to varies level of management
Proactively solve problems and resolve conflict
Perform other duties as assigned
Specific Job Duties
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience
7-10 years of experience in increasingly responsible management positions dealing with project management and stakeholder collaboration
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to influence stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes
Ability to communicate and work with various cultures/nationalities
Ability to maintain strong working relationships with others
Creativity to plan and accomplish a variety of goals and be results-oriented
Strong analytical skills
Strong administrative and time management skills
Adaptable to change
Ability to travel approximately 70%
Computer and MS Office proficiency
Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP experience preferred
