The Director of Omnichannel and Digital Innovation at LS&Co runs the vision and execution for Omnichannel and Digital Innovation at LS&Co which spans, mobile, retail, marketing, and product teams. In this capacity the position focuses on the following key areas:
Works cross functionally with the Global Retail Capabilities team and the EComm leadership team this position develops the vision, strategy, business case and roll out for all new global Omni-channel capabilities.
This position also leads all LS&Co EComm Innovation capabilities and owns our strategy and vision in this area, as well as executes and roles out these capabilities including full P&L ownership of these initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Understands trends in e-commerce, marketing, and digital to envision, develop and deliver new capabilities to drive quarterly impact. Examples include: Understanding of trends such as AOS, automation, emerging platforms to reach customers in new ways(mobile etc).
Responsible for creating a scaled operational plan for new Omin and Innovation capabilities
Responsible for completion of business deliverables; operational process flows, use cases, business requirements. Also works cross functionally to deliver operating and staffing models, incentive plans, marketing plans, etc to ensure effective omnichannel roll out. Manages and maintains business-facing milestone plan & delivery roadmap
Identifies global rollout markets/territories and timing for all LS&Co omnichannel and Innovation role outs. Works cross functionally with LSA region team to define vision, timeline, scope, rollout and benefits for omnichannel initiatives.
Identifies and engages business SMEs and Experts
Partners with Product management to drive key work-stream meetings
Works with cross-functional business partners to ensure proper capability integration across all channels and functions(Stores/GRC, IT, HR and Ecomm)
Partners with Store execution and GRC, on the development and execution of training and communication materials for stores as well as projects
Identifies topics for ECLT as well as Store leadership / steering committee meetings (business risk, deliverables approval, etc.)
Leads the function of Innovation in Ecommerce and Omnichannel developing a pipeline of Innovation projects and evaluating ROI and business feasibility. Has budget accountability for LSA Ecomm Innovation and Omnichannel projects. budget targets.
Lead a team of 4 associates to support the areas of global Omni channel and Innovation capabilities.
Manage delegation to team and interface with all global and regional teams as well as Product Management teams internally and externally to manage projects and deliver on business benefits and timeline for the areas of Omni and Innovation.
Skills & Qualifications:
MBA/ MS or advanced degree required
5 years or more of management experience
8 years or more within a business role with a focus on rolling out new initiatives. Omni channel project management and analytics in similar role highly desired.
Advanced experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Visio, MS Office Suite, Process Maps
Ability to understand complex opportunities and customers
Ability to synthesize complex data
Skilled in project management, ideation
Very strong analytic and financial skills
Ability to link strategic insights to operationalized business plans
Ability to communicate effectively in a concise and accurate manner at all levels(especially leadership and WLT level) of the organization and with external partners.
