As Director Product Management for the Intuit Developer, you will lead the platform’s product management, setting its strategic product roadmap, responsible for driving and delivering on major strategic and product initiatives.
You will not only have direct responsibility for Intuit’s Developer platform, but also the Apps.com marketplace where there are already over 500 3rd party applications that integrate with QuickBooks Online.
In this role, you will have significant strategic impact and influence on the direction of the company, driving the evolution of the platform with a talented team of product managers, while partnering closely with engineering leaders to build a growing portfolio of products to market.
Your Responsibilities
Define and own end-to-end platform product vision, strategy, and lifecycle. This includes: market needs, roadmap creation and communication, release planning, requirements gathering, functional specification all the way through to customer enablement and success.
Lead a talented and passionate team of product managers with deep experience in the developer and SMB space, while partnering across the QuickBooks ecosystem (QuickBooks Online, Payments, Payroll, Accountant) teams to enable a flawless end to end experience for our customers.
Teaching best practices around the craft of product management and how to build products customer love
Owns the end to end process of delivering the key critical customer (managers, partners and candidates) benefits and experiences while driving relentlessly to ensure speed and quality are the focus
Be the voice and view of the customer (developers, SMBs and Accountants) from solution concept to market, planning, setting and managing to timelines, while delivering high-impact products that align to the business strategy
Drive business growth utilizing ROI, revenue, and customer value as key performance indicators while being technical enough to specify and work with engineering to build the product
Execute in an intense, fast-paced, and highly iterative environment
Provide management guidance on organizational effectiveness, change management and conflict resolution, as well as provide expertise in the following areas: career planning, performance management, coaching, data analysis, recognition programs, and strategic development
Build strong working relationships with senior end executive leaders across Intuit teams - e. g. product, engineering, sales, marketing and finance - through collaboration on projects that impact teams across departments
Qualifications
Leadership DNA and Subject Matter Expertise in Product Management; you have spent 10-15+ years building world-class SaaS-based platforms and API software products,
You are seen as an industry leader in platforms product management, with a proven track record of designing and building out platforms that drive a growing and thriving developer ecosystems that enables the co-creation of value by ultimately serving end-customers
As a seasoned people leader who can effectively recruit, develop and retain top product talent, you have produced organizations that systematically and consistently drives smart strategy and incredible execution of awesome product experiences
You know how to partner across the organizational boundaries to deliver business results in a product ecosystem environment while communicating and influencing effectively though boundaryless leadership, knowing when and how to work with product engineering, sales, marketing, and others
You possess exceptional project management skills; how to plan, set and manage to reasonable timelines, while delivering projects that align to the business strategy
Delivered global products ideally, but showcasing large-scale product delivery, leadership and passion that inspires greatness
Demonstration that you are a life-long learner
