Epsilon is seeking a Senior Director of Marketing Technology for our Healthcare portfolio. A successful candidate will have the following key characteristics:
Ability to architect, package and deliver customer centric marketing solutions, comprised of core CRM as well as digital capabilities.
Desire to work with a cross functional team to define marketing technology roadmaps that tie to our clients strategic direction, and then deliver on them.
Experience working with external clients, and a true understanding of what it means to deliver on a daily basis
A futurist. A person who understands new technologies and the marketing application in the area of Big Data, Analytics, Digital and Campaign Management.
Responsibilities include:
Technology leadership
Overseeing technology architecture and design for the healthcare portfolio
Meeting with cross functional delivery teams on a regular basis to ensure our technology offerings are consistent with the needs of the portfolio
Staying on top of the latest technology trends as well Epsilon’s product offerings, and integrating them with client roadmaps
Participating in the business development process for the portfolio, including technology design and pricing
Defining, creating and presenting proof–of-concept demos and sales materials
Engaging with our clients to understand their business needs and recommend technologies
Teaming with other marketing executives within the portfolio to
Identify and develop opportunities for new business
propose and pitch technology solutions
develop points of view and thought leadership pieces to promote our marketing technology capabilities within the Healthcare industry
Working across multi-functional teams to bring together the best solutions for our clients
Leading project teams in digital transformation projects
Team Leadership
Manage resource within a subset of accounts in the portfolio. Collaborate with project leads to ensure that resource and revenue forecasts are aligned and that project hours forecast during sales process are tracking with actuals. Manage open reqs and shift resources across projects as needed. Validate input to resource forecasting tools.
Manage career paths by coaching and mentoring direct and indirect reports. Set and regularly review the team’s strategic goals and adjust them to stay in line with corporate goals. Hold associates accountable for their work by setting expectations, achieving commitments, providing feedback, and evaluating effectiveness. Collaborate with peers for succession planning
Communicate effectively with direct supervisor and upper management in support of the client, portfolio, or project. Synthesize relevant information on key milestones, success criteria, and risks. Escalate critical issues appropriately.
Work with GMs and technical management to ensure that implementation teams deliver solutions as promised. Roll in as needed to provide leadership and guidance during crisis
Develops best practices and champion them within the organization
Up to 30% travel required by client and business development needs
Candidate requirements:
Strong background in marketing technology
In depth knowledge of database architecture, data modeling, and system integration in real-time using web-services
Solid background in Campaign Management tools and databases
Significant digital experience, including the following
UX
Portals
Site design and creation
Creative
Email execution
DMP
Web Tagging and Analytics
Content Management
AEM
Sitecore
Social
Mobile
Current expertise with Digital CRM platforms and technologies, knowledge of the trends within the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries
Strong digital experience and the ability design, package and implement state-of-the-art marketing technology systems within the healthcare industry
Digital agency experience desired
Ability to develop productive client relationships across different levels of management
Ability to architect and deliver customer centric marketing solutions
Experience working with resource models that utilize offshore resources as part of the core development team.
Demonstrated technology background in multiple disciplines (system architecture, programming, system administration, database administration, database design, networking technology)
Ability to communicate visionary and highly technical concepts to both technical and business audiences
Proven delivery track record; ability to deliver on time and budget
5+ years relevant experience including client facing duties
7+ years’ experience with software implementations from requirements through design, development and client acceptance
7+ years’ experience in relational database design, administration and support, including OLTP and Warehouse environments
Knowledge of marketing strategies and analytic driven solutions
Familiarity with data hygiene processes
