Director Consumer Engagement Analytics Under Armour Baltimore

Develop and lead a team dedicated to enhancing consumer engagement experiences and digital marketing efforts through innovative application of advanced engagement and marketing performance analytics. The team will serve as an internal analytic consulting services group providing strategic guidance and analytic support to digital marketing teams and consumer engagement channel managers across multiple digital marketing channels and direct to consumer touch points throughout the Under Armour Connected Fitness Community and Retail environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Develop and maintain strategic partnerships across multiple business units and digital marketing groups
Serve as a strategic advisor and change agent helping to develop and promulgate a data driven and analytic culture that we call the “Math House”
Direct a team of analysts that span multiple marketing and consumer engagement disciplines including but not limited to email, paid search, display and display retargeting, affiliate programs, personalization, digital store experience, in app. Experience, ecom, and community web site experience.
Develop, execute and manage analytic roadmap for cross channel optimization and measurement
Lead efforts in the development and maintenance of marketing attribution and mix models, that allows for the efficient allocation of digital marketing spend across all channels and platforms
In partnership with marketing and personalization team, manage the creation and maintenance of Audiences and segments for addressable marketing and onsite personalization.
Develop custom performance measurement schemas, algorithms, models and analyses in support of consumer engagement and marketing efforts
Develop and present actionable insights, recommendations to senior level executives
Partner with other analytic functions to develop analytic standards, share best practices and drive efficiency across the enterprise
Play a leadership role in the evolution of the analytics and marketing technology stack, using a best in class approach to help drive profitable growth for the enterprise
Manage relationships with key marketing and analytical vendors. Also responsible for managing the budget on an annual basis
Drive test and learn activities for marketing spend and consumer engagement activities




Technical Attributes of Ideal Candidate: include but are not limited to the following:

12+ years of experience developing and leading consumer engagement and/or marketing analytics teams, preferably in a retail or CPG company
Proven track record in building, cultivation and nurturing high performing teams.
Demonstrated ability to drive value through application of advanced measurement and consumer analytics
Demonstrated ability to foster strong client relationships
Demonstrated ability to foster ideas and growth among a team of analysts
Experience managing cross functional teams with a primary role supporting multiple teams of analysts
Demonstrated proficiency in managing multiple digital marketing channels
Demonstrated proficiency in web analytics and customer centric marketing
Track record of cultivating positive change management and serving as a change agent evangelizing for and developing a data driven culture
Proven track record developing integrated marketing performance measurement schemas across multiple marketing channels
Proven track record designing marketing attribution models including direct measure and modeled approaches such as media mix modeling and digital attribution modeling
Experience with enterprise scale data management systems and advanced analytic tools (Relational DB, SQL, SAS, R, SPSS, etc.)
Experience developing action oriented reports and dashboards employing advanced data visualization tools (Spotfire, Tableau, etc.)
Familiarity with Big Data infrastructures and Big Data analytic concepts
Experience working with media platforms and 3rd Party Tools (Google Adwords, DoubleClick, MediaMath, Bing Ads, ExactTarget, Hitwise, BrightEdge, Facebook, etc.)
Experience with digital marketing or web analytics (Omniture, CoreMetrics, Google Analytics, WebTrends, etc.)
CRM Data Analysis (Customer Segmentation, Churn, Lifetime Value, Acquisition, etc.)
Excellent written and oral presentation skills
Familiarity with Data Management Platforms (DMP) and demonstrated experience using it to help optimize marketing and analytics efforts
Strong problem solving and consulting skills
Advanced degree in quantitative field or commensurate business experience (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Engineering)
