Change Management Director Strategic Transformation Office CBRE Dallas

The primary responsibility of this position is to guide consulting and project delivery with internal clients in the areas of operational and process excellence, change management and/or M&A integration and value capture within the Strategic Transformation Office (STO). The primary goal is to partner with CBRE departments to drive impactful business results that change the top and bottom line.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Enables clients’ strategic agenda and management dialogue by leading STO programs across people, process and technology capabilities.

Establishes trust-based, advisory client relationships Drive achievement of targeted client outcomes and overall STO objective and brand development.

Leads development, iteration and syntheses of key messages during client meetings/presentations.

Works with VPs to advance STO’s strategy and priority client, team development and building the institution initiatives.

Plays a lead role in identifying opportunities to optimize STO value delivery and client outcome.

Ensures “success conditions” for effective knowledge transfer to clients and across STO team.

Drive development and documentation of new STO intellectual capital from ongoing client work.

Leads overall STO’s overall relationship management with project delivery team and key stakeholders.

Leverages relevant industry trends, LoB ad functional knowledge to play active role in shaping STO’s overall client account plan, value proposition and relevant project agenda.

Viewed by clients as expert and thought leader in relevant LoB and at least two functional areas (change management, operational process excellence or M&A).

Plays an active role designing, driving and safeguarding STO’s intellectual capital and extended knowledge network in relevant areas.

Other duties as assigned.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages the planning, organization, and controls for a major functional area or department.



May be responsible for a mix of direct and matrix reports.



Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination.



Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval.



Monitors appropriate staffing levels and reports on utilization and deployment of human resources.



Leads and supports staff in areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising and rewarding performance and retention.



Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.





QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, technology, industrial engineering, organizational psychology or related fields with a minimum of 8-10 years related work experience.



Master’s degree with real estate or other financial service industry experience and general leadership experience are preferred.


CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

Certification in the following disciplines are preferred:
• Lean Six Sigma
• Agile Methodology Certification (i.e. CSM)
• ProSci / Change Management


COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents.



Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues.



Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style.



Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups.



Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.


FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles.



Reviews complex financial/business analysis and reports prepared by subordinates.



Ability to analyze the most complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions.



Develops and implements financial policies and procedures.



Approves and oversees department budget.


REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.



Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment.



Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.


OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES

Comprehensive understanding of successful transformational initiatives:

Value agenda and business case development
Operational and Process Excellence
Organizational Design and Enablement (talent strategies, change management training, etc.)

Proficiency in developing change management artifacts / tools in support of strategic objectives (Ability to resource plan, Advanced problem solving).

Change Management Expertise in major organizational transformational program(s) outside of “ERP Implementation” or Similar IT Implementations. and / or Process Transformation expertise leveraging a defined methodology (Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of constraints)

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve complex results. Responsible for setting project, department and/or division deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to line of business and/or overall company.
