This role will require you to develop insights and solutions for complex, ambiguous and high visibility business challenges. You will provide analytical expertise and business understanding to the Global SMB leadership teams, covering new advertiser acquisitions, existing sales/account management/support, and Google’s product and partners strategies for SMBs. You will partner closely with Sales Finance and with these functional teams and their analysts to understand and create new insights and intelligence. Additionally, you will have exposure and visibility to executives and cross-functional leaders.

Responsibilities
Respond to ad hoc requests and analytical projects from the VP of SMB Sales and Operations and the leadership team by providing deep insight and actionable recommendations.
Track, measure, interpret and predict business trends to inform business partner decisions.
Network across the global SMB team to gather updates, monitor performance progress and risks, synthesizing and presenting the information to executives.
Dig in to understand issues you uncover, collaborating with stakeholders to quantify and address material risks.
Communicate insights on a regular basis to the appropriate stakeholders and leaders.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with a quantitative focus (e.g., economics, computer science, mathematics, physics, statistics or accounting) or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred qualifications:
MBA or advanced professional degree.
5 years of analytical work experience in management consulting or business operations. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams located around the globe in different timezones.
In-depth experience analyzing data, using strong database query (e.g., SQL), spreadsheet and statistical modeling skills. Knowledge of industrial grade IS architectures and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView).
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to tight deadlines in a high paced and dynamic environment.
Proven track record of thought leadership in applying data driven models that have had a tangible impact on sales, support, and marketing operations across international markets.
Strong project management, problem solving and analysis skills, combined with strong business judgment and top communication skills.
