For the independence capability of EMEIA FSO and in order to avoid unnecessary duplication, a rely on ‘Host’ model has been adopted whereby countries provide common infrastructure, resources and policies to both FSO and other industries. Host regions effectively provide for the day to day independence support. EMEIA FSO maintains a small central team to address FS industry specific issues, regulation and risk matters throughout the region. Including some elements of independence. The role of the EMEIA FSO Independence function is not reaching its full potential and requires someone at Director level to deliver the momentum necessary to reach this as well as someone who can provide specialist independence support on regional priorities.
You will be required to lead on Risk Management related to new services and products as well as providing support on independence matters. As a senior member of the central Risk Management team, some management responsibility will also be part of the role. Innovation and strategic offerings form a key element in the EMEIA FSO priorities. This involves the development of new ways of working, new services and alternate pricing models and consequently new risks and quality issues. The candidate will be responsible for running the risk management approval process of these new ways of working.

Ability to work both independently and highly collaboratively
