Job Description
Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Director of Managed Care responsible for leading the development and implementation of new and existing Managed Care Contracts at a Division level. This position implements strategic plans and works with Field and Billing Center management to maximize revenue growth and profitability.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Leads the development and implementation of Managed Care contracts in order to
achieve planned market positioning and share within the industry.
Supports the Vice President of Managed Care in communicating new opportunities and contractual obligations.


Solicits, negotiates, implements and manages ongoing profitability of assigned managed care contracts that span regions and/or divisions. Includes contract renegotiation when necessary
Responsible for effective account management in order to understand and document the authorization process, billing rules, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and account trends to ensure continuous improvement within each account.
Works with field sales personnel on revenue growth within their region.
Works with Billing Center Management to reduce / maintain company Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and cash collections levels for all accounts.
Evaluates market trends and monitor / report key customer needs.

Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
8+ years related managed care experience
Experience with successful contract implementation and delivery
