Job Description
The Director of Pharmacy will run all pharmacy operations for the entire hospital complex, including 9 specialty clinics and a nursing home. The Director will handle all activities within the pharmacy including staff oversight, budget, formulary management, medication purchasing and dispensing, and compliance documentation. The Director will use the MEDITECH platform to document and plan work. The Director will also be involved in coordinating patient care and will report to the Director of Medical Operations.
Qualifications
Pharm D
Prior pharmacy experience in hospital setting with 3-5 years in management role
Familiarity with MFPA Life Safety Codes, DNV Standards, ISO Standards, OSHA and DOH Guidelines
Must Haves
Strong leadership, organization, and communications skills.
Ability to hold a team accountalbe and work in unison; past success with leading a successful team
Strong clinical experience and the ability to interface directly with hospital medical and corporate leadership
