This position will report directly to the Vice President and Head of Compliance Technology within the LCBE ITG group. This individual will coordinate and manage project activity, customer engagement and solution delivery for several key areas of the Compliance business technology strategy related to advanced data analytics and intelligent process automation. The candidate will have management/supervisory responsibility for a small team of employees, consultants and/or Pramerica resources based in Ireland. This individual may also have oversight or accountability for other initiatives and projects to support LCBE including requests for proposals (RFP), solution analysis, vendor product evaluations and the development of business requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating, and executing project plans, managing project budgets, engagement with external vendors and service providers, and the coordination with the quality assurance testing team to complete projects on time and within budget. Strong verbal and written communications skills are crucial to this position as the individual will interact heavily with Compliance business customers at various levels, vendors and other technology groups within Prudential. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience ensuring that projects adhere to prescribed standards related to the software development lifecycle management. The incumbent will have overall accountability, engagement and oversight with the Pramerica team supporting data analytics.

Qualifications

BS/BA Degree in Finance, Technology or a related field is required. Advanced degree is a plus
10+ years experience in Technology holding roles of increasing responsibility
5 to 7+ years project management experience in a corporate environment
Experience with Project Management tools and methodologies, PMP or another related certification a plus
Strong knowledge of advance data analytics tools, techniques and data visualization is a must.
Prior experience working with Compliance technology or in Compliance business operations functions is highly desired.
Prior supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred
Strong relationship management skills and the ability to partner effectively with senior leaders or stakeholders is a must.
Familiarity with IT budgeting, forecasts and financial management for projects and programs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Vendor management and experience with offshore resource models a plus
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
Proven ability to solve complex problems and negotiate effectively
Practical experience leading/managing large projects and innovative technology solutions
Experience in forming strategic partnerships with technology and business partners in a collaborative manner
Strong analytical, organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
Experience facilitating cross functional teams
Strong customer service mindset with ability to appropriately balance risk with service delivery expectations.
Experience collaborating with application architects/developers and infrastructure engineers to identify, design, and implement highly complex, end-to-end solutions.
