The Director of Market & Competitive Intelligence will provide interesting research and actionable insights for Fidelity’s Healthcare and Total Well-Being Group.
The Expertise We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s Degree, MBA strongly preferred
5-10 years’ experience in product, consulting or market research preferred.
Market research, competitive intelligence and program management skills
Experience or knowledge of Healthcare space (Health and Welfare Administration, HSAs, Voluntary Benefits etc.) is a strong preference
The Purpose of Your Role



The Director Market & Competitive Intelligence will be responsible for the monitoring and understanding of market trends among the Healthcare competitor set, leveraging both internal and external contacts to gather the best and most current intelligence available, and engaging in delivery of insights to internal customers. This role will be responsible for the development of competitive intelligence to support the growth strategy of our Health care business going forward.

You have strong presentation skills, inclusive of building presentation stories, distilling key insights, and presenting to management, as well as a demonstrated history of innovation and creative thinking

The successful person in this role will be a self-starter with investigative journalist skills, have excellent communication, collaboration and relationship skills, a strong ability to synthesize and share insights in ways that are meaningful to senior management and other stakeholders, the ability to promote the program and innovate with customer input, and a keen skill set in project management with a strong bias towards effective execution and innovation.
You will be responsible for the management of various research initiatives/ projects and ongoing competitive intelligence efforts
You will develop and publish market segment analytics and competitive deep dive analysis of existing and emerging competitors
You will use insights/knowledge gained through research to help ensure that management and stakeholders understand important market developments and that competitive understanding is built into ongoing planning and strategy
Other priorities include performing ad-hoc and immediate analyses requested and/ or to alert management to key competitive moves
Analyze the internal and external environmental factors (competitors and disruptors), in partnership with key stakeholders, and recommend appropriate actions and strategies to proactively address opportunities or risks
