The Director for Facility Operations is a member of the Data Center Systems LOB reporting to the VP, Global Facility Operations within the Operation Services IOU. This person is responsible for the successful execution of Facility Operations in APJ. Additionally they will help in the development, maintenance, continuous improvement and digitization of the Facility Operations offer.
· Manage Facility Operations delivery and field staff in the respective region
· As the subject matter expert for Facility Operation this person shall provide support In APJ for:
a. pre-sales activities
b. proposal development
c. contract closures
d. mobilization and execution of contracts
· Develop, maintain, improve and digitize the portfolio of Facility Operation
· Work closely with the APJ Regional Application Center (RAC) personnel to support the individual country teams within the region
· Provide technical leadership for Facility Operations
· Provide offer sales & delivery support to all country teams within APJ
· Work closely with Facility Operations Offer Team to launch existing and future products and features within the portfolio to countries within the region.
· Develop and present sales and delivery training as required to all responsible staff within countries offering Facility Operations.
· Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses and prepare reports on all aspects of the critical facility operations and maintenance programs within the region to ensure quality of offer delivery
· Assist regional teams working with end users to assess operational efficiencies and provide actionable reports as required
· Recruiting, hiring & training of facility operations personnel for contracts obtained within the region.
· Perpetuate a culture of excellence and constant process improvement within the sales and delivery teams within the region.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited college or university in a major field of study
Minimum of 5 years experience in management of critical facilities.
Minimum of 3 years experience working in multi-cultural, international environment
Advanced knowledge and capabilities to utilize Microsoft suite of software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to communicate in English, verbally & in writing, Communication in other languages found in the region is a plus.
