Microsoft’s Central Region is seeking a Partner Consumption Manager to drive consistent execution of partner aligned technical pre-sales motion to accelerate consumption (deployment and adoption) of Microsoft solutions in the Corporate Accounts. This will be achieved by leading all opportunity owners (AMs, OMs, SSPs, PSEs) to drive pre-sales activities to accelerate deployment of Microsoft technology. Success metrics include consumption rates for: O365, Azure, CRMOL, P- Seller/Si-Attach, and projected Azure Consumed Revenue.

The Partner Consumption Manager role adds value by:
• Ensuring that sellers are equipped with the needed processes and tools, and consistently leverages them to achieve results.
• Partnering with Sales Excellence, STU, CAM and CTM Leadership to define and implement the management processes, and tools for deployment and scorecard accountability.
• Implementing efficient processes to manage and coach field sellers via an integrated regional monthly ROB.
• Building trusted relationships with key partners to influence consumption rates.
• Identifying key deployment blockers, help-needed, and insights and share-out with the US HQ as part of ROB process.
• Leading the communications rhythm to ensure that everyone in the organization is kept apprised of consumption status, key steps, and resources to drive impact.

Key Requirements of this Role
• A focus on long-term sustainable growth through the deployment and consumption of Microsoft technologies by their customers (driven by Partners).
• Drive in-depth knowledge of the Industry’s IT Technology environments across all Sellers
• Broad knowledge of the Microsoft Enterprise Platform, and the ability to review mapping of relevant IT Technology Solutions to the industry’s IT and Business needs and consumption
• This is a new role within Corporate Account Segment

Required Experience:
• 10+ years of experience in sales/technical-sales to corporate accounts.
• Respected IT executive or technical leader who has successfully demonstrated the ability to significantly raise the capabilities of a large partner technical sales organization.
• Proven ability to understand implications of change, train cross-functional teams, and provides the leadership to overcome barriers and achieve results through individual and team efforts.
• Strong background on managed partner relationships
• Excellent internal and external communications skills are required (written, verbal/presentation)
• Field leadership experience (Microsoft or competitor)
• Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Experience:
• MBA degree.
