Sr. Strategy Manager, Office of the CEO Cisco San Jose

The Office of the CEO works with the executive leadership team to ensure Cisco leads in the new era of technology disruption. Cisco is moving rapidly to execute on four priorities—acceleration, simplification, operational rigor, and culture, all to better meet the needs and expectations of customers.
Role & Responsibilities • Develop materials (presentations, speeches, workshop materials) to support executive decision making, including: • Conducting market research and analysis • Pull together data from across the company, drawing insights • Ability to make recommendations and suggest concrete next steps / processes / governance • Program Management of leadership initiatives • Help facilitate and support corporate planning design and execution activities Minimum Qualifications: • 10+ year of experience and Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Finance/Economics • Masters in Engineering and/or MBA • Minimum 3+ years in investment banking, management consulting or internal strategy group • Ability to draw insights from disparate bodies of data • Comfort with structuring ambiguity • Strong written and verbal communication, strong presence in front of senior executives • At least intermediate Excel skills (i.e., financial modeling) • Strong PowerPoint skills • Sound understanding of Cisco product offerings including Internet of Everything (IoE), Internet of Things (IoT), networking, compute and/or storage technologies • Demonstrated interest and fluency with adjacent technologies (e.g., Security, Mobility, Technical Services) • Ability to collaborate across functional groups, including engineering, sales, services, marketing, HR, operations • Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time, prioritize them and manage time, teammates, peers effectively • Self-motivated, highly ambitious, has a desire to challenge the status-quo • Teamwork.
