Product Marketing Manager Amazon Seattle

The Amazon Appstore team is looking for an experienced marketer to help us evangelize Fire devices and the Amazon mobile app development platform. This role will make the developer community aware of why building applications with Amazon represents such an enormous business opportunity for developers. We need to rethink how we approach our marketing programs and looking for a candidate that brings enthusiasm for this mission, passion for the audience and creativity to challenge our way of thinking.
The Developer Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies for encouraging developers to build for Fire devices. They will craft strategies for targeting and communicating with developers to increase developer adoption. They will act as the Subject Matter Expert for developers, developing a deep understanding of what drives developer adoption and loyalty.

The Marketing Manager will be expected to innovate and will be empowered to expand our marketing and communication horizons to new approaches and channels and approaches. In typical Amazon fashion, the Developer Marketing Manager will hold a high bar for measurement of marketing activities, and will define success metrics, measurement methods and reporting processes for their efforts.

Key responsibilities include:
· Define marketing and communication strategy to drive developer adoption
· Implement best in class audience experiences, consistency of content, and compelling call-to-action
· Determine coverage model and resources across programs
· Drive innovation in audience experiences and partner with social engines, community influencers to scale message, awareness, and adoption
· Optimize and drive efficiency of all event activity
· Analyze and make recommendations for improved execution and ROI
· Manage budget, forecasting and reporting on a monthly basis

Basic Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree
· At least 5 years of experience in product or audience marketing - preferably with experience in developer or software marketing
Preferred Qualifications

· Demonstrable, successful, history of defining marketing strategy and executional excellence
· Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units
· Ambitious self-starter with excellent follow-through skills
· Strong drive for results, with the ability to manage independently and take calculated risks
Outstanding interpersonal skills
· Decisive, action-oriented, and be able to motivate, inspire, and lead cross teams to leverage resources effectively
· Strong written and verbal communication and listening skills
· Attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities
· Demonstrated ability and willingness to roll up sleeves and execute to get the job done
