Media Director NBCUniversal Media Hialeah

Director will drive media strategy in order to create best in class media plans using research, targeting and marketing best practices
• Director of Media will guide the development of media plans and recommendations to media agency for all off-channel campaigns working closely with the Brand Directors at all of our various properties.
Extensive knowledge of US Hispanic media including but not limited to traditional media (TV, Radio, OOH) as well as digital and emerging paid media (Google, FB, Snapchat, Twitter, Programmatic…)
• Manage advertising team to ensure plans are executed on time and in budget
• Work with off air creative team to ensure delivery of all assets with proper messaging and timeliness
• Regular meetings with media vendors
• Work with stations in order to Liaison between Stations and Networks when it comes to local media buying
• Maintain media budgets/spending for off-channel media spending
• Investigate latest media trends and vehicles, communication of new products and services in media
• Understanding of Editorial Social Media and how it can and should be used to enhance promotional campaigns

MEDIA PLAN DEVELOPMENT
• Manage media agency on designated project elements to create on-strategy and cost-effective media plans
• Interface daily with internal groups to ensure all media plans/elements are in development
• Meet regularly with media partners (print, OOH, digital) to stay current on media information and develop critical relationships


ANALYSIS
• Drive media strategy based on data and research
• Review ratings performances for marketing priorities and determine effectiveness of marketing support
• Examine research information – source and destination, audience profile and local market analysis to help inform marketing strategies


BILLING/BUDGETING
• Oversee annual budget and quarterly reconciliation.
• Manage and supervise all media invoices from media agency, ensuring campaigns are reconciled on budget
Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 10 years of TV/Entertainment marketing and/or media planning experience.
• Knowledge of US Hispanic market – including local markets nuances
• Understanding of Scarbough, Viewergraphics, Nielsen, Simmons and other research tools
• Willingness to travel and work overtime with short notice
• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
