The AIG North America Direct Marketing team is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Director of Digital Marketing Execution – Travel Insurance. Reporting to the DM Head of Digital Marketing Execution, the Director of Digital Marketing Execution will be responsible for leading and managing key digital development initiatives to support the execution of AIG DM marketing goals, and Travel Insurance digital needs.
In this position, you will work closely with internal business stakeholders in marketing strategy, operations, legal, and IT, as well as with external vendors to envision, implement and manage mobile-optimized web sites and marketing solutions that drive customer conversion. The Director of Digital Marketing Execution needs to be an experienced digital product management or development professional, and a strategic thinker who can manage multi-faceted projects from conception to launch.

Position Description:

Serve as the business lead within the Direct Marketing team for digital projects for Travel Insurance and other assigned business lines to ensure full lifecycle leadership is provided including strategy, requirements gathering, creative development, user acceptance testing, and project launch.
Direct creative resources, internal and external IT teams, and content editors/developers in the implementation of new digital functionality, including new web sites (desktop and mobile), and new digital marketing functionality.
Develop and manage third party vendor relationships, and assist in developing a strategy for integration with new vendors.
Manage key relationships with counterparts within Direct Marketing, IT, assigned business line teams, and legal.
Develop business case documentation for new digital initiatives
Write business requirements as necessary
Ensure team resources are fully leveraged to maximize use of existing digital tools and vendor relationships.
Review and analyze web analytics to improve user experience
Manage resources in a matrixed environment

Position Requirements:

Bachelor Degree required.
7-10 years of relevant experience in a digital setting required (Product Management/Product Development experience preferred)
Excellent leadership skills – experience managing employees
Proven project management ability in a highly dynamic environment
Familiarity with Web Content Management Systems (CMS/WCM) to build web sites
Experience with Adobe Analytics highly desirable
Experience leading launch of mobile-optimize web sites using responsive web design
Strong communication skills.
Superior Organizational and analytical skills
Some travel required
