Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Director, Customer Advocacy to join our Customer Experience team. In this role, you will work as a trusted partner and advisor to our innovative and strategic customers across the insurance industry. This includes understanding the strategic and tactical needs and offering guidance on how our customers can best leverage the solutions from Applied Systems’ strong portfolio of products and technologies.
You will also work closely with our product management and product development teams to ensure we consider customer feedback and the priority needs of our clients, including usability, new features and addressing challenges.

Additional responsibilities include:
Working closely with our customers to ensure they are aware of industry best practices.
Monitoring the adoption and successful use of solutions across the Applied Systems’ product and technology portfolio.
Managing escalations from our customers.
Participation in project governance and steering committee meetings.
Working with the Product team to ensure a strong focus on excellent user experience.
Participating in the prioritization of the feature and defect work across the product portfolio.
Facilitating communication across our client base as appropriate.
Identifying and implementing new technologies to facilitate collaboration internally and externally.
Actively participating in the Applied Client Network groups focused on large agencies
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Technology, Business, or similar area; or equivalent work experience
5 years of executive level experience in technology, enterprise project management, or related field
Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects
Available for 25-50% travel throughout the US, Canada and the UK (must be within reasonable driving distance from an airport, ideally international, providing direct flight options)
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required
Exceptional interpersonal, communication (spoken and written) and influencing skills, with a proven ability to navigate a complex, cross-functional environment; ability to communicate at all business levels, with focus on executive leadership levels
Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically
Innovative team player who inspires innovation in others, through engagement and negotiation
Able to perform ROI analysis
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
