Being responsible for a media spend of more than a billion USD, you will manage the global strategy development and its deployment and planning, keeping the right balance between central strategy and regional customization. You will do this through a team of five Sourcing Managers which you will develop and coach for optimal efficiency. You will lead and facilitate relationship management strategies with suppliers, but also internal procurement teams and the local, regional and global business stakeholders. You will encourage and oversee the transfer of best practices between the regions and ensure standardization of processes and tools as well as coordinate the delivery of assigned regional and global KPIs.
Qualifications
This role requires true leadership skills and at least 10-15 years of relevant experience. Ideally, you have held strategic procurement roles before on global or at least regional level with a successful trackrecord in the media & marketing space. You are a strong strategic thinker, being able to prioritize and lead on the different levels of the organizations and manage through high degrees of complexity and ambiguity. You are able to manage through others and coach and develop a remote team across the globe. Your stakeholder management skills are second to none and your strong influencing help you to create buy-in among your business clients at very senior levels of the organization.
