Job Description:
Manage broad policy portfolios focusing on the Life Sciences and Media/Entertainment Committees.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead council activities associated with initiatives relevant to the portfolios; assist member companies with business-to-business dialogue;
work with stakeholders in both governments and key partner organizations; remain current on policy developments related to the portfolios; work with member companies to identify barriers to trade and investment; regularly convene executive committees to maintain an advocacy agenda; oversee meetings and events; retain and recruit member companies; raise revenue; plan executive policy missions to India; develop and maintain databases and USIBC members-only website; and write news articles, press releases, background briefs, and fliers.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree and 7-10 years’ related experience; demonstrated expertise with life sciences or media or entertainment policy issues; working knowledge of the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative and the U.S. departments of State and Commerce; experience planning conferences and meetings; and strong presentation, writing, and verbal communications skills. Master’s degree and experience and familiarity with India a plus.

Salary commensurate with experience.
