This role will support the Managing Director of Operations and Transformation: Planning and directing administrative, financial, and operational activities of the organization. Acting as a point of contact between top management and employees or other stakeholders. Provide oversight and guidance to projects critical to the organization. Provide strategic advice to Managing Director of Operations and Transformation and management of daily operations.
This position is required to conduct strategic analysis and competitive assessments for planned initiatives, measure and track results and present and articulate key information to leadership to guide strategic decisions. This person must possess a strategic orientation, stay abreast with industry trends, manage risk, and have experience in corporate and business unit strategy development and management of large implementation efforts.



Major Responsibilities:

Proxy at meetings for the Managing Director and delegate decision making on behalf of the person.
Acts as a relationship manager for Operations & Transformation to other lines of business in Regional Bank. Guide the lines of business and act as a liaison between the business unit and Corporate Strategy on all top-down strategic efforts at the Executive Committee Advisory level.
Work cross-functionally with finance, sales and service, marketing, project management and the lines of business to plan strategic efforts and provide implementation support.

Qualifications

Proven team building and team leadership skills, particularly in project settings.
Expert level use of MS office tools, specifically with PowerPoint and Excel.
High comfort level in dealing with senior and middle management, including excellent communication and presentation skills.
This role typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management, Finance, or other relevant discipline or experience.
Minimum of 15+ years of banking experience with extensive expertise and knowledge of consumer banking operational functions and systems required.
Minimum of 10+ years of management/executive level experience.
Excellent decision making skills that demonstrate originality, flexibility, and resourcefulness while managing risk.
