Senior Director - Media Sales - East Coast - DemandBase - New York
Job description
The Senior Director of Media Sales is a critical player-coach responsible for selling Demandbase’s innovative Company-Targeted Advertising solution directly to B2B clients and helping launch Demandbase’s NYC office. This position will have a defined territory and manage a team of highly accomplished Account Directors on the east coast. In addition, the Senior Director will work closely with Demandbase’s platform Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure current and new customers are taking full advantage of all of Demandbase’s product offerings.
Responsibilities
• Lead and manage all east coast advertising activity at Demandbase
• Attract, hire, and retain top sales talent
• Refine and evolve sales process to maximize revenue
• Accurately forecast and report on team revenue
• Develop a strategic plan to scale east coast advertising revenue and organization dramatically
• Work closely with internal team to successfully co-sell Demandbase’s full platform
• Be a recognized expert in B2B marketing and ad technologies
Desired Skills and Experience
• 10+ years of digital media sales experience
• 4+ years of experience managing senior level sales team
• Familiarity with ad tech ecosystem
• Rolodex of east coast B2B client and agency relationships
• Strong skill set in contract negotiations
• Desire to work in a thriving startup
• Ability to co-sell across complex sales organizations
• Four year university/college degree required
