Job Description
Serve as Advisor to CSRA Group Head and management team by providing guidance, consultation, and support as requested. The role will focus on enhancing MUFG Union Bank’s reputation and relationships in the community and with governmental officers and agencies.
Participate in CSRA strategic planning meetings and efforts drawing upon extensive knowledge, expertise, and contacts to support CSRA and MUB reputation and standing in the community, with an emphasis on the Bay Area and California.
Advise and assist in matters involving the Community Advisory Board, including identification and vetting of new members.
Advise and assist with outreach to community activists or certain community or faith-based organizations as requested by CSRA Group Head.
Provide strategic counsel and serve as liaison to certain political, social, and community allies of MUFG Union Bank, as well as facilitate the strengthening of those relationships with CSR or MUB executive management.
Act as a champion of MUFG Union Bank in support its strategic agenda of sustainable growth and profitability.

Role Requirements
A Bachelor degree is required; a Masters or MBA is a plus, with experience in project management, process improvement and data analytics / systems.
Proven experience in driving growth and awareness of CSR programs.
Knowledge of sustainability tools, standards, and reporting initiatives, especially GHG protocol, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), life-cycle analysis, energy management, etc
Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills, including an ability to convey complex data and sustainability concepts, and to work across a diverse range of stakeholders.
Experience in meeting with clients, presenting to groups, and developing business strategies to expand current services and identify new opportunities.
Strategic Thinking: Analyzes and applies a broad organizational and business perspective to identify and maintain focus on key drivers of organizational performance.
Experience in and having established relationships in the social or environmental sector a plus.
