Director of Architecture
Ensure compatibility with existing architecture: solutions, infrastructure, services, and business requirements
Review current architecture governance processes to identify opportunities for improvement
Lead and facilitate architecture governance and review board processes
Lead the development, implementation and communication of Enterprise Architecture (EA) strategy, vision and guiding principles across the NAWM organization
Demonstrate competency in innovative, strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management
Manage stakeholders’ expectations to assure appropriate use of technology across the enterprise
Rely upon extensive experience in process analysis, design, and documentation to drive increased rigor in EA management
Lead a team of architects including career development, goal setting, and performance reviews.
Leverage and align with the assets of the Thomson Reuters enterprise
Build strong and positive relationships with business, technology leaders and design teams to align with the Thomson Reuters strategic technology direction

Education
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or strongly-related discipline
Experience
10+ years experience in Information Technology with experience in the development of scalable, flexible architectures for high-concurrency and high-performance applications.
Repeated success in large-scale systems re-engineering and technology transformations.
Direct leadership experience in a managing a group of technologists as part of a distributed team in a global environment.
Proven ability to oversee and guide multiple concurrent technical projects.
Skills
Practical understanding of the development of scalable, flexible architectures for high-concurrency and high-performance applications.
Excellent communications style with business stakeholders, management, peers and software developers alike. Ability to articulate complex problems and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
Robust interpersonal skills supported by expressive oral and written communication styles.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to operate with limited supervision.
