Senior Manager, Digital Acquisition Risk (1109873) American Express - New York



Job Description

This Role Will Report To The Director, Digital Acquisition. The Digital Acquisition Team Is Responsible For Designing And Implementing End-To-End Online Strategies And Capabilities That Will Drive Profitable Growth For Prospect Acquisition.
This Position Will Be Responsible For Targeting Logic, Testing Of Various Changes To Incentives, Offers, Messaging Etc
And Campaign Delivery Of Offers To Potential Customers Through Existing And New Digital Channels.
The Team Will Be Tasked With Developing New Strategies To Engage With Potential Customers In Non-Traditional Methods, Such As Social Media, Location Base, Mobile, And Other Emerging Technologies.

Responsibilities Include:
- Working On Larger-Scale Strategic Transformations On Future Digital Acquisition Strategy
- Exploration And Evaluation Of Digital Channels Such As Social Media, E-Communication, Mobile And Web
- Day-To-Day Campaign Risk Management, Testing, Analysis And Operations Incumbent Will Be Required To Provide Thought Leadership, Work On Transformational Projects, And Partner With Cross-Functional Teams Including Risk, Marketing, Information Management, Finance, Compliance, And Technologies.

- 3-5 Years Of Strong Analytical And Problem Solving Experience.
Advanced Degree (Masters) In A Quantitative Field Such As Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering A Plus
Experience In Web Analytics Highly Preferred, Knowledge Of Key Tools Like Omniture Site Catalyst Are Desirable
Experience With SAS, SQL And Ability To Create Insights From Data Analysis Are Critical Skills.
Ability And Passion To Develop Innovative Solutions
Ability To Work In A Dynamic, Fast Changing Environment

Ability To Communicate Effectively And Work Well In A Cross-Functional Environment Positions in Risk Management lead the development of credit, operational, enterprise, and fraud policies designed to profitably grow the portfolio, while ensuring excellent customer experience.
These policies utilize mathematical models and other techniques to understand and predict customer behavior. At the senior manager level, the employee typically does not have a people leadership role but is often viewed as a subject matter expert and/or mentor to managers and analysts.
Possesses the expertise, knowledge and seasoning to work on projects of high sensitivity or importance.
Works relatively independently and is responsible for driving consequential decisions.

Desired Skills & Experience

Bachelors Degree, Required. Masters A Plus.
3-5 Years Experience Working With SAS, SQL.
Experience With Web Analytics Techniques Like Split And Multivariate Testing.
Knowledge Of Tools Like Omniture Site Catalyst.
