Job Summary
Complete Genomics is looking for an exceptional expert and leader for a Director of Immunogenetics position. This individual will lead the immunogenetics research team, based in China, in their basic and translational studies of BGI Research. The ideal candidate will provide strategic advice and coordinate resources to design and develop products targeting clinical and personal health markets.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the immunogenetics team to conduct translational research on high-throughput immunogenetics that focuses on developing products.
Research and develop new immunogenetics projects and design projects according to requirements.
Lead international communication and collaboration to keep abreast the latest scientific development in related field.

Recruit, retain, and develop the immunogenetics team.
Administer scientific research funding applications.
Produce and manage scientific publications.
Perform other work related duties as assigned.

Desired Skills and Experience
Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in immunology, immunogenetics, bioinformatics, biostatistics or related field with a minimum of 6 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 6+ years of management experience preferred
Strong background in T/B cell immunology, immunogenetics, bioinformatics, or biostatistics
Experience in immunological research and leading application and translational medicine
Strong record of publications in peer-reviewed journals and patents
Experience working in cross-functional teams
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Previous Experience in Biopharmaceutical industry a plus
Experience creating and maintaining strong connections with clinicians, hospitals, academic institutes, and industries a plus
Other Requirements
Fluent communication skills in English and Mandarin required
Travel at 50%+ between China and U.S
