As a Director of Sales Development, you will manage a global team responsible for creating new clients (prospects) for Mavenlink. Your team will consist of four managers, reporting directly to you, and a global team of over 40 BDR’s and SDR’s. Your expertise and passion for acquiring new clients and a proven record of managing and growing client acquisition teams are essential. We are looking for an experienced manager and someone who understand the latest tools, technology and techniques to take our team to the next level of performance and results.
Manage a global team to create new selling opportunities for Mavenlink
Achieve goals/targets associated with prospecting and qualified opportunity
Define a strategic method and cadence for conducting outbound efforts
Work closely with Marketing and Sales leadership to define programs that create more sales opportunities
Provide leadership and guidance (to members of your team) regarding skill improvement, achievement, and career progression
Operational excellence to produce reliable weekly, monthly and quarterly sales pipeline and forecast management
Maintain fluency in current and emerging technologies, trends and products that can be used to benefit the team’s success

Proven track record of success when leading Sales/Business Development teams
Mastery of navigating initial sales conversations and engagements. Specifically, the ability to handle objections, ask value-related questions, owning and leading conversations and being an active listener.

Minimum 5 years of experience selling software and/or consulting services
Minimum 3 years of experience managing in a Sales Development team
