Senior Director Sales Operations Applied Materials Santa Clara

Provides leadership and direction through senior managers. Is accountable for the performance and results of multiple regions or diverse job families or departments within a major region or business unit. Develops and executes business unit, department or sub-functional strategy to achieve key business objectives. Decisions are guided by company and segment/functional strategy and objectives. Directs and controls the activities of one or more functional areas.
Key Responsibilities

Oversees Sales & Forecast Dashboard, Strategic Initiatives and KPI's; analyzes and reconciles bookings & revenue to ensure compliance with finance and commit process
Develops & establish segment and enterprise sales and global business processes, standards & tools for sales, such as GBAM, M&A Integration, order and quality activities, profitability reviews.
Manage the communication with other departments related to Sales Operation system and related business processes & and provide decision making on implementations
Oversees and manages in collaboration with Finance the finance policies related to all sales activities, such as signature authorities, revenue definition, order recognition, etc.
Rolls up and Reports Segment/Account Forecasts, and Analyses, HC & budget.

Owns Global Business Alignment Process (GBAM) across BU/Segment and Accounts, interfacing with other segments.

Drives the development of the sales incentive plans, including the implementation of globally, establishing targets and KSOs and the management and tracking of performance & payout. Ensures alignment and disconnect closure across BUs/Accounts .

Recommends and manages VOC improvement and initiatives, based on enterprise VOC surveys

Usually manages a large number of product and/or service line across all product groups in a business segment. Supports Multi BU/Segment Large Order Process.

Education

Master's Degree
10 - 15 Years of Experience
