Sales Solutions Sales Director ANZ LinkedIn Sydney

LinkedIn’s Sales Solutions team is dedicated to changing the world of sales through Social Selling. The use of Sales Navigator, our flagship product, connects and builds mutually beneficial relationships between buyers and sellers. We are looking for a Sales Director to lead our ANZ LinkedIn Sales Solutions (LSS) business. You will use your strategic social selling expertise to maximise value for our existing customers, educate the region on the benefits and value of Social Selling, serve as a trusted adviser to share insights and continually seek opportunities for growth to make our customers as strong and successful as possible.
This role reports to Head of Sales Solutions, Asia Pacific.


Responsibilities:

Serve as the General Manager of the ANZ business responsible for the P&L of the ANZ business and the creation and execution of the ANZ strategy.
Directly manage the Acquisition and Relationship Manager teams
Set sales priorities and innovate on key selling strategies to achieve sales objectives
Act as the Chief Salesperson by leveraging relationships to open doors to accelerate our growth trajectory and join meetings with key customers and target prospects
Develop a high performing team; including recruitment, sales coaching, mentoring, succession planning and driving robust operational excellence to establish a high-performing sales team
Champion and ambassador of our LinkedIn culture & values, and create inclusive and diverse teams that foster belonging and opportunities for transformation
Live what we sell - exemplify best in class social selling
Travel required (approximately 25% of the time)
Basic Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role
10+ years of experience leading sales teams
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience as an MD/country manager (or in a similar senior exec capacity) with P&L ownership
Deep understanding of the ANZ market characteristics, trends, industries, culture, partners etc.
Experience scaling up a fast-growing business in a matrixed environment
Demonstrated track record of leading sales teams to grow the baseline and consistently meet revenue goals.
Demonstrated track record of effective hiring, motivating and developing culturally diverse teams
Strong oral/written communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent client management, presentation skills and conflict resolution ability.
Comfortable in a fast changing environment and operating in ambiguity
