The Director, PI Sales and Service model role is responsible for providing leadership for the strategic vision, design, and effective implementation of new or enhancing existing live channel sales and service models. The role is closely aligned with the Segment Marketing team-in order to understand customer expectations, strategy and success criteria, and also the PI Distribution channels leadership team-to ensure an effective model that fits the organization and is implemented effectively.
Provide analysis of existing business conditions and recommend strategic changes in sales and service models to improve business results. (25%)
Design sales and service models that support the PI Relationship strategy, new product launches, and/or customer segment needs. (20%)
Effectively facilitate cross PI teams in the development and deployment of these models while leveraging experts, and internal/external consultants. Oversee and direct work of director level participants assigned from the PI sales and service model team. (20%)
Provide strong program management skills to ensure that deliverables are executed on time and meet quality requirements. (10%)
Act as a liaison between the segment/product and live channel organizations. (5%)
Provide appropriate business owner with on-going status, issues and risks impacting Distribution and the program overall. (10%)
Develop and report on appropriate measures of success for the new business model. (5%)
Ensure an effective handoff of responsibilities to Distribution/Dist Ops post implementation. (5%)
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred.
Extensive experience (8-10 years) in the financial services industry or related.
Retail financial service focus and Distribution field experience is preferred.
Skills and Knowledge:
Strategy and business case development skills.
Ability to manage effectively in a fast paced, high pressure/high visibility position.
Advanced presentation skills. Ability to present/communicate to senior team.
Strong influence and collaboration skills.
Solid analytical capabilities.
