JLL is currently seeking a Compensation Leader to join our Human Resources team in Chicago.

Partnering with Executive Leadership and HR
Proactively develop and foster collaborative working relations with key clients and stakeholders that can include Business Leaders, HR, Operations, Recruiting, and Legal. You’ll be presenting and working with senior executives in our Corporate Solutions business.
Serve as a trusted strategic advisor demonstrating the ability to understand complex and multi-faceted businesses, offering compensation expertise to enable the development of solutions that support the strategic business needs
Provide consistent analysis on various compensation metrics
Drive Compensation Strategy Through Design, Implementation and Administration of Compensation Plans and Programs
Assess, design and potentially implement new or modified compensation plans that align reward and employee incentive programs for a highly complex and ever changing business due to M&A and growing service offerings requiring our comp partner to think proactively to incentivize our team members.
Implement Delivery Organization framework to align rewards across the Americas around profitable growth.
Lead and drive compensation initiatives to implement, develop and administer compensation programs within multiple regions or business units that support the business strategy of the assigned group(s).
Evaluate the effectiveness and competitiveness of the compensation plans by compiling and analyzing statistical data from internal and external market sources. Formulate recommendations regarding salary ranges and incentive structures for specific jobs and development of company/practice salary structures.
May lead complex projects over multiple business units or regions. Serve as a deep subject matter expert.
Provides expert counsel to HR and Business leadership on compensation issues related to company pay structures, pay change recommendations, new hire offers, wage and hour regulations, policy/procedure interpretation, incentive programs, etc.
Evaluate and advise on industry trends
Monitor the compensation industry and changes that that might affect JLL's Compensation initiatives, identify and make recommendations to senior leadership for action.
Research and recommend innovative solutions to complex issues and advise senior compensation team on change management.
May anticipate compensation and regulatory issues that affect the organization.
Model and assess financial implications of plan designs
Enlist and partner with Finance to properly as assess financial impact of any compensation modifications.
Create complex financial models to analyze the impact of plan designs and adapt proposals as necessary to ensure fiscal responsibility.
Monitor spend and budgets throughout the year to advise on trends and implications of ad-hoc compensation decisions.
Manage year-end compensation administration
Lead and drive the process with HR and senior management to determine methodology and approach to be followed in year-end pay administration across multiple regions and or business units. This includes budget analysis and recommendations, modeling results, and setting up the compensation support tool to comply with methodology and budgets agreed upon. Review results and present to senior leadership for approval.

Minimum Required Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Human Resources or business related field preferred.
10+ years of corporate compensation experience designing, implementing, and maintaining compensation and incentive plans.
Experience developing and managing compensation programs – global experience a plus.
Strong financial acumen, and advanced knowledge of compensation statistics and metrics.
Workday experience a plus, particularly implementing the compensation planning module
Strong PC skills (Word, PowerPoint & exceptional Excel skills)
