This Business Operations Director position will lead current programs and opportunities within the Fort Meade Intelligence and DOD space. The Director will provide leadership and focus on growth of assigned business portfolio, developing strategy, providing business development and capture support for all Prime opportunities under 50M and all sub opportunities. This position will also be required to develop strategy to go after opportunities for portfolio expansion, talent development, and team building.
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
Candidates shall have experience with:
Developing and executing strategic business plans consistent with the goals and objectives of an organization.
Leading and engaging in Business Development and Capture within the IC and DOD market.
Performing various proposal activities to include; leading color reviews, leading sections (management, executive summary, staffing plans, BOEs, etc).
Ensuring high levels of execution of assigned portfolio of programs; cost, schedule, technical performance, staffing, quality, and customer engagement.
Achieving financial objectives established in an annual business plan.
Building and maintaining a high level of customer engagement across a portfolio.
Establishing productive relationships with counterparts in other segments of a business, vendors, industry partners, customers and staff.
Attracting, developing and retaining high performing, diverse talent within the business; building future leaders through mentoring and serving as a role model
Identifying factors that create differentiators in the development of IT services and solutions.
Promoting high customer satisfaction to advance the business and meet or exceed growth objectives.
