This role will have the overall responsibility for strategy, change management, project delivery, people management, and operational excellence for IT Finance systems. You'll partner with Nvidia’s Finance community that is focused on accounts payable, receivable, GL, tax & treasury, costing, P&L and other areas of corporate finance/operations.
In this exciting role, you will be accountable for a large portfolio of IT Finance services, the CFO's strategic roadmap as well as leading the IT org for Finance. You'll be able to work collaboratively with multiple senior stakeholders to jointly drive Finance’s priorities. It’s scope spans across a matrix of relationships, teaming with talented global and local finance leadership as well as functional (HR, Legal, Planning, Ops, Infra) leaders across geos.
What you’ll be doing:
You will provide vision, direction and for the financial applications team setting high level priorities, coordinating with business at all levels, and communication on deliverables
Partner with program management office for tracking projects, services, related tasks and resources, and meeting required deadline, scope, budget, quality, and other measures of success
Develop and grow talent – build an environment of accountability and financial discipline. Foster critical thinking, situational awareness, sense of urgency and intellectual integrity
You'd identify, implement and monitor compliance with statements of policies and procedures to assure that proper documentation is maintained and that the required controls are implemented
Drive development of best practices for systems development/support and champion a metric driven culture and operationalization of services
Your depth of industry and financial process knowledge and a strong understanding of the applications (SAP ERP preferred). Provide architectural guidance and ensure most optimal system design
Strengthen collaboration with cross functional teams within IT across geos and develop “one team” culture
What we need to see:
Bachelor/Master’s degree in finance/relevant areas; CPA preferred
Deep understanding of Enterprise Architecture and integration of multiple applications & other SAP Functional Areas.
Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills, specifically a proven ability to effectively guide and influence within a dynamic matrix environment.
Minimum of 15+years of experience with at least 5 in a comparable role
You will bring a knowledge and willingness to continually stay on top of the latest industry products and technologies, ability to internalize how new technologies can be integrated into NVIDIA’s IT workflow to drive efficiency
Strong experience with simultaneously balancing immediate business priorities/projects while driving the overarching strategic visions of the company.
In depth experience of building and maintaining effective global teams, as well as successfully leading and driving strategic changes in large dynamic organizations.
