The Director, Sales Operations develops, organizes, and implements strategies and tactics required to support interactions with sales operations. As an integral member of the US Sales team, this position ensures best-in-class service for our customers, sales organization, and all key stakeholders. The position requires strong business acumen, previous experience in publicly traded companies, a proven track record of managing high-performing teams, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Job Responsibilities

Partner with Sales, Marketing, and key cross-functional leaders to execute strategies that drive sales performance, procedure adoption, and optimal regional territory management.
Partner with the FP&A team to deliver revenue forecast and quarter close.
Collaborate with sales management and other business leaders to develop KPIs that provide deep insight into the trends and growth of the business, and drive monthly business reviews with these metrics.
Drive worldwide quota and commission planning and optimization.
Responsible for the execution of pricing contracts and associated deliverables, new account set-up, and revenue recognition processes.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to accelerate growth and drive sales targets through understanding overarching sales and financial goals.
Develop and track revenue projections, sales team member effectiveness and productivity, selling cycle, and other key metrics relative to optimizing sales resources.
Partner with cross-functional teams to formulate and implement optimal operational strategies including sales optimization and value-added sales management tools.
Monitor the accuracy and distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the Sales team to ensure timely and accurate collection, analysis, formatting, and dissemination of sales data.
Develop and mentor a dynamic team capable of excelling as problem solvers and empowered to own customer engagement and service.
Establish functional goals, performance standards, operational priorities, and manage the allocation of resources needed to achieve operational goals while staying within budget.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
MBA preferred.
At least 10 years of strategic sales operations experience building programs preferred.
Proven track record of building and managing high performing teams in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.
Hands-on experience interacting with sales teams, customers, and cross-functional leaders.
Proven track record of addressing barriers, bottlenecks, and concerns with the ability to evaluate and set priorities.
Knowledge of selling medical products or services to physicians and other health care providers and distributors.
Experience managing department budgets.
Life sciences and/or medical device industry experience preferred.
