As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise.
You are comfortable understanding the complex requirements coming from the enterprise customers and you can map to product deliverables. You understand video and are familiar with video streaming technologies. You understand product deliverables in detail, can structure and lead sprints, and usher products through the entire product lifecycle.
This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to product stakeholders including engineers, engineering managers, product managers. You can discuss the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Responsibilities
Work closely with enterprise stakeholders who deal with video - video player developers, broadcast engineers, mobile application engineers.
Manage product sprints and releases. Lead releases with complex requirements and test cases; work with engineers and product managers to define milestones and success criteria, resource allocation and successful on-time delivery
Become a product and industry influencer by maintaining deep technical and business knowledge of video technologies and of best-of-breed video cloud strategies.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Math, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
Experience working with enterprise customers and driving cross-functional programs.
Hands on experience with video technology
Hands on experience with web technology: Development, Sysadmin, Hardware, Setup, Configuration and Deployment.
Preferred qualifications:
Hands on experience with mobile technology such as iOS and Android: Development, Sysadmin, Hardware, Setup, Configuration and Deployment.
Experience in designing and implementing scalable cloud-based solution architectures for PaaS, IaaS or SaaS. In-depth experience operating within cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Network Operations, Sales, Marketing, Developer Relations, and Business Development).
Solid understanding of public clouds (i.e. Google Cloud Platform); development experience using Google Cloud Platform or other cloud products. Strong understanding of enterprise (F500-F1000) requirements in the areas of security, identity, mobile device management, compliance.
Experience with good understanding of private and public cloud design considerations and limitations in the areas of virtualization and global infrastructure, distributed systems, load balancing and networking.
Deep expertise in industry specific technologies with a history of building successful vertical solutions, including experience in Healthcare, Financial Services or Media, or experience with Machine Learning technologies.
Experience with big data and machine learning technologies. Experience with popular open source software (such as Cassandra, MongoDB, RabbitMQ) and enterprise Content Management or Business Applications (CRM, ERP, etc.).
