Lyft is looking for a dynamic, impressive leader to join our growing People team as the Director of Experience and Engagement. Reporting to our VP of People, your (broad!) remit will include Culture, People Programs and your charter includes creating and maintaining a special, memorable and world-class experience for our team members. Your team works tirelessly to uphold our company values with every touchpoint we have with our people. This role will be equal parts strategy and execution as the happiness and success of our people is paramount to the company! You will partner closely with a wide array of stakeholders from our Founders and exec team to our People Business Partners and Talent teams to develop and implement programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Create and implement all internal and external Engagement initiatives as well as Lyft’s philanthropic strategy
Run programs specific to Lyft’s diverse workforce, maintaining and forging relationships with partners/vendors and delivering the operational processes and programs to execute on Lyft’s strategy are all key responsibilities of this position
Play a key role in building, scaling and maintaining our culture of continuous learning by helping to develop a portfolio of internal and external programs impacting teams across the company including Onboarding
Help lead our growth efforts across all offices, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to establish ongoing programs
Partner with Leadership, People Business Partners and functional training leads to develop programs and content which align to our people experience strategy and solve for unique group challenges: performance management, career pathing, etc.
Develop metrics and dashboards to evaluate success of departments and programs
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Bachelor’s degree, higher degree preferred
10+ years program/project management experience in employee engagement or human resources/people operations
Thrive in a “move fast” environment with a passion for solving problems, breaking down roadblocks, and being resourceful
Ability to influence team members at all levels on key employee engagement and insights topics
Excellent track record of managing high-performing teams
Ability to handle highly sensitive data with confidentiality
Strong analytic skills with the ability to translate data and trends into key insights and recommendations
Strong desire to create innovative, compelling programs in a fast-paced environment
